PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE
I am a life long Macomb County resident and married my husband Steve 43 years ago. WE have 3 adult children with 2 son in laws. We also have 5 grandchildren who we cherish. My husband had his own business that he worked in for all of his life coming from his family business. WE enjoy the water wonderland of Michigan and the water we are surrounded by, along with family and friends and fishing. I have been a Licensed practical nurse for 47 years working in hospitals, nursing homes and doing home care. I had the experience of care of medical and surgical and many other kinds of intricate care including a lung and heart step down unit including heart patients and quadriplegic patients on ventilators. I love caring for people, that is why I love my job as County Commissioner. I like to help people as much as I can.
POLITICAL EXPERIENCE
I entered the Republican Party 40 years as a volunteer to help get elected people with American Values seeing a change and a need. I have been on the Republican State party, the Macomb Executive Board and much more. I really love waving the American Flag at our Freedom Rally's that so many people love. I was appointed by Govenor John Engler to to go to Lansing for 7 years to the Social Appeals Board of Social Work. There were great people to make decisions with . I felt very strongly in certain areas to protect our citizens when necessarily and was quite tenacious about it. Recently the leadership of the Republican party asked me to run for County Commissioner and I won. My desire was and is to put citizens first always. This responsibility is not for me but for our people. I love when our people approach me and tell me what they think should be accomplished. WE in America should have a citizen government when possible and they are correct, and it can be accomplished. My reason for running again is for this reason, to accomplish more for our Freedom and stop corruption.
